macOS 12 Monterey or later, Apple Silicon or Intel
- Apple Silicon (M1 and later)TestPion-0.53.1-macos-arm64.dmgDisk image for Macs with Apple chips.
- IntelTestPion-0.53.1-macos-x64.dmgDisk image for Macs with Intel processors.
Install
- Open the downloaded
.dmg. - Drag TestPion into the Applications folder.
- Eject the disk image.
First launch
The app isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS blocks the first launch:
- Open Applications, right-click (or Control-click) TestPion and choose Open.
- Click Open in the dialog. macOS remembers this choice.
If macOS says the app "is damaged and can't be opened", that's the quarantine flag on an unsigned download. Clear it in Terminal and open the app again:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/TestPion.app"On macOS 15 and later you may instead need to go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway after the first attempt.
Secrets are stored in the macOS Keychain. The first time the app saves a secret, macOS may ask you to allow access to the Keychain; choose Always Allow.
Continue with your first request.
Updating
Download the new .dmg and replace the app in Applications. Your workspaces and settings in ~/.testpion are kept.
Uninstall
Drag TestPion from Applications to the Trash. To remove your data too, delete ~/.testpion and ~/Library/Application Support/TestPion.
